New at Summit Racing: TITAN Trail Trekker Auxiliary Fuel Tank for Jeep Wrangler

Hit the trails with an extra 12 gallons of fuel.

TITAN’s new Trail Trekker Auxiliary Fuel Tank provides an additional 12 gallons of temporary fuel capacity, yet has a negligible affect on a Jeep’s capabilities. It secures to the rear tire carrier, fitting snugly between the carrier and the wheel. This clever placement helps protect the tank from abrasion and won’t significantly affect the Jeep’s departure angle.

Having the tank located so close the stock filler neck also means the Jeep can be refueled by simply connecting a siphon hose from the TITAN tank to the Jeep’s tank—the TITAN Trail Trekker tank never has to be unbolted from the carrier. TITAN even includes a length of fuel hose precisely sized for connecting the TITAN tank to the Jeep’s stock tank.

Fully fueled, the Trail Trekker Auxiliary Fuel Tank weighs about 100 pounds and will fit wheels from 15 to 37 inches in diameter. It works with the stock tire carrier for the 1987-2016 Jeep Wrangler. The OE hardtop tailgate’s opening ability may be limited by the tank’s placement.
