New at Summit Racing: TMI Sport R Pro-Series Seats for Chevelle and Camaro
Even when they were brand new, the slab-like bucket seats in 1964-72 Chevelles and 1967-69 Camaros were not very comfortable or supportive. Take a turn a little too sharply and you could find yourself sliding into the door or the guy next to you. Add in a modern suspension and sticky tires and the situation gets even worse.
Fortunately, Summit Racing offers TMI’s Sport Pro-Series Seats that solve both problems quite nicely. The lowback seats feature side and thigh bolstering that helps keep you in place when you’re taking the curves, and the high quality black vinyl with suede insert upholstery keeps you comfortable on long trips. For authenticity, TMI uses OEM-style Madrid grain vinyl that matches the seat material used back in the 1960s.
The TMI Sport R Pro-Series Seats feature a knob-style recline function and are available with contrasting stitching in red, blue, green, orange, or white. You can also get your Pro-Series seats with the classic Comfortweave or houndstooth seat insert patterns. The seats are sold in pairs with slider assemblies, but you’ll need vehicle-specific mounting brackets also available at Summit Racing.
