New at Summit Racing: UMI Performance Viking Front Coil-Over Kits for 1993-2002 Camaro and Firebird
While the fifth gen and soon-to-be-revealed 2016 Camaro seem to get all the attention, there are a lot of fans of fourth-gen Camaros and Firebirds that want to up their cars' handling ante. That’s why UMI Performance makes these bolt-on Viking Front Coil-Over Kits to provide complete ride height, spring rate, and damping adjustability.
The centerpieces of the kits are the Viking double-adjustable shocks with 19 independently adjustable compression and rebound settings. That means you have 361 possible valving combinations to play with. Damping adjustment is easy—simply click the adjusters by hand. A spanner wrench is included to set ride height, a process that takes just a few minutes per side.
The UMI Performance Viking Front Coil-Over Kits include 2.5 inch diameter springs—your choice of 300 lb.-in. for drag racing or 550 lb.-in. for autocross and road racing. The drag race kits come with a choice of polyurethane shock bushings or poly upper/spherical bearing lower shock mounts. The Viking shocks are made in the USA and are fully rebuildable.
