New at Summit Racing: Weigh Safe Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

Put away the notepad and calculator.

A trailer’s tongue weight is a critical bit of information for safe towing. Figuring it out used to involve large scales and tricky calculations. Weigh Safe’s adjustable Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts have built-in tongue weight scales. The mounts feature a large dial gauge that reads from 0-1,500 pounds. An intuitive red/green dial color scheme illustrates safe/dangerous load levels. The SEMA folks thought these hitches were pretty clever too, and gave them a SEMA New Products award.

The hitches are available in 4, 6, and 10 inch drops. They’re height-adjustable for added versatility when hauling a wide range of trailer types. Select from a 2 or 2-1/2 inch square hitch receiver. Each 6061-T6 aluminum mount includes a 2 inch and a 2-5/16 inch stainless steel hitch ball. The hitches are J684 and V5 certified for performance and reliability.
