NotcHead Shop Grip Tool Now Available at Summit Racing

Raise your hand if you’ve ever burned your fingers polishing, grinding, or cleaning up bolts—or had those bolts go flying across the shop. Looks like just about everybody.

Now Summit Racing offers a better way to handle those fasteners. The NotcHead Shop Grip Tool provides a solid, secure grip on most any bolt or screw while keeping your fingers well away from a spinning wheel or brush. The tool features an adjustable four-jaw collet. To use, just loosen the collet, slip in the threaded portion of the bolt, and tighten the collet. The aluminum jaws tightly grip the threads of the bolt without damaging them so you can completely clean or polish the bolt head and shank. The long-handled grip gives you control over your work and keeps your hands away from spinning danger, and prevents the bolt from catching on a wheel and flying off into the dark recesses of your garage.

The NotcHead Shop Grip Tool is also handy when you’re cutting bolts and threaded fasteners, tapping or cleaning threaded holes, and even as an extended grip for Allen and hex-head wrenches. The tool comes with three grips and collets to handle any bolt in these size ranges:
• #4 through #10
• 1/4" through 3/8”
• 7/16” through 1/2"
