By electronically adjusting the ECU’s fuel maps, shift points, and other engine parameters, Dinan’s DINANTRONICS performance ECU tuners extract more power from BMW engines without ever turning a wrench. Available in performance stages, DINANTRONICS tuners are 50-state legal (CARB E.O. D-176-42), and won’t void the vehicle’s warranty coverage or affect diagnostic systems. For turbo-equipped cars, Dinan makes a series of DINANTRONICS Sport boost controllers that can be adjusted by the driver via Bluetooth® connection.

Dinan recommends its Carbon Fiber Air Intake Systems as a complement to the optimized fuel maps created by the DINANTRONICS tuner. These systems supply a Bimmer motor with air that’s up to 40 degrees cooler than a stock intake. The cooler air delivers improved combustion, which means both better performance and fuel economy. Dinan’s own testing revealed gains of around 10 horsepower—and that’s without other modifications. A performance ECU tune and free-flowing exhaust will improve results.

Dinan’s Free Flow Stainless Exhaust Systems offer increased power, specifically at high RPM. A deep, drone-free exhaust note accompanies the improved performance. Dinan’s engineers reduced exhaust backpressure and incorporated a Helmholtz chambered muffler design. Each axle-back system is made from 100 percent 16 gauge stainless steel for excellent longevity.
