Now at Summit Racing: Frostbite Billet Electric Water Pumps

A mechanical water pump typically can’t handle the cooling demands of a high-revving performance engine. More importantly, a mechanical water pump runs off of the engine, causing parasitic power loss.

Frostbite Performance Cooling’s new billet electric water pumps solve both problems. The pumps move up to 40 gallons per minute, plenty of flow for performance applications. Since they’re electric, there’s no drive belt and no additional engine strain. Better still, Frostbite’s billet water pumps are made from aluminum, which means they weigh much less than pumps with the typical cast iron housing. That’s a big deal for racers looking to shave tenths of a second off their ETs.

Frostbite’s pumps are available for small/big Chevy, plus small/big Ford including 351C, 351M, and 400M engines. The pumps include gaskets, a wiring pigtail, and mounting hardware. Ford applications include a block-off plate, if applicable.
