Now at Summit Racing: New Products from Quick Fuel Technology

There’s no off-time for the folks at Quick Fuel Technology. They’ve been hard at work developing fuel delivery solutions that offer predictable performance on the street and shave down ETs at the track. Here are just a few of the latest parts hot off the Quick Fuel Technology workbench.

The new FOUR DOOR power valves feature Quick Fuel’s exclusive design to deliver greater flow capacity. That makes the power valves an excellent option for racers running alcohol engines. FOUR DOOR power valves also boast a quicker response rate and tight limit bands to allow for ultra-accurate calibration and precise power enrichment. The valves have a thicker diaphragm for increased protection again backfire-induced rupture and corrosive fuels like alcohol and E85. Each FOUR DOOR power valve is hand tested before it leaves the factory.

For protection against the corrosive properties of ethanol-blended fuels, Quick Fuel offers E85 billet metering block conversion kits. Designed for 4150- or 4500-style carburetors, the kits include the metering blocks, fuel screws, gaskets, and hardware. The blocks are CNC-machined for a precise retrofit, and each kit features standard calibration, screw-in idle feed restrictors, and a 4-corner idle screw setup. There is no secondary power valve provision.

Quick Fuel’s die-cast carburetor base plates are a cost-friendly alternative to replacing an entire carburetor. The base plates are reinforced in critical areas to meet the stresses of a high-performance engine. The plates are made from A380 aluminum alloy and are CNC-machined to ensure an exact fit. Each plate includes all the necessary gaskets and hardware to complete the installation. They’re available for 4150- and 5200-style carburetors.

To combat heat soak and prevent vapor lock, Quick Fuel makes a Quick Cool carburetor insulator kit. It consists of a special poly-core spacer that’s sandwiched between aluminum heat shields, creating an effective thermal barrier. Better still, the entire assembly adds a mere half an inch to the net carburetor height from the mounting flange, perfect for low profile installations. The insulator kit comes with longer mounting studs to compensate for the extra height. It fits 4150-style carburetors.
