Now at Summit Racing: Superwinch ROAM Wi-Fi Wireless Remote Controls

Since many off roaders carry a smartphone in their pocket, Superwinch’s new ROAM Wi-Fi Wireless Remote Control system is the right app at the right time. Using the Wi-Fi network created by ROAM’s logic box, it turns any Apple or Android powered smartphone into a winch command center. In addition to spool in/spool out and pause functions, the ROAM system transmits critical winch data.

ROAM’s intuitive display indicates parameters like winch run time, motor temperature, estimated load and speed, amp draw, and battery voltage. Users can also set thresholds with the ROAM system to prevent the winch motor from overheating or drawing excessive electrical current. The ROAM app incorporates a live chat feature with Superwinch customer support, plus a session history to track winch use.

Superwinch ROAM Wi-Fi Wireless Remote Controls are compatible with Talon, Terra, Tiger Shark, S-Series, and other popular Superwinch models. The system consists of a ROAM transmitter unit, a wiring harness for power and sensors, plus a free download from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The control has an effective range of about 50 feet.
