Palmgren Tool Shop Tools and Equipment Now Available at Summit Racing

Palmgren Tool has supplied drill presses, vises, grinders, and other metalworking tools since 1919. In fact, founder Clarence Palmgren designed and manufactured the first machine vises, cross slide vises and tables, and rotary tables that are now commonplace in the metalworking industry.

Summit Racing does carry Palmgren’s industrial-grade miter saws, lathes, and vertical mills for the really serious fabricator and machinist. Heavy-Duty Bench Drill Presses

Multi-Jaw Bench Vises
A Palmgren multi-jaw bench vise will probably be the most versatile vise you will ever own. Made from fine grain cast iron, the vises swivel 360 degrees and can be locked in any position. The vise jaws also rotate 360 degrees and are lockable. They come with a set of hardened steel parallel jaws, pipe jaws, and V-jaws. Your choice of 5.125 and six inch jaw widths.

Powergrind-XP Bench Grinders
A Powergrind-XP bench grinder may very well be the last one you will ever have to buy. Available with six inch or big 10 inch grinding wheels, these grinders are packed with industrial-grade features:
• Heavy-duty capacitor motors supply the extra current required during start-up and operation under load
• Dynamically balanced rotors and sealed bearings minimize vibration for smooth running
• Extended wheel-to-wheel clearance for grinding longer items

These machines combine a disc sander and a belt sander in one easy-to-use unit that lets you grind, sand, finish, polish, deburr, and contour all types of materials and parts. Features include:
