Prevent Fuel Backflow and Pressure Loss with a Russell Performance Barbed Fuel Check Valve
Fuel is the lifeblood of your carbureted engine. If it’s not flowing properly though, it could cause serious problems like fuel pressure loss or the potential to siphon back into the tank, leading to hard starts or worse—damage to the entire fuel system.
Russell Performance designed the Barbed Fuel Check Valves to flow fuel in one direction and prevent it from being siphoned back into the tank when the engine shuts off. Their 304 stainless steel check piston minimizes restriction and pressure loss.
Russell Barbed Check Valves are designed for use with gasoline-only fuel systems with a minimum of 3 PSI of fuel pressure and maximum of 10 PSI. They are available with 5/16- or 3/8-inch hose barbs and have a black anodized finish.
