Heatshield wraps, shields, mats, and other products protect valuable components from the ravages of Old Man Heat—and can even help extract some extra horsepower in the bargain. Here are some of the Heatshield products available at Summit Racing:

Lava Exhaust Wrap
Made from crushed volcanic rock, Lava Wrap contains hotter exhaust gases within your header pipes, decreasing its density and allowing it to exit your system faster. This produces better scavenging, which can help free up some extra horsepower. Lava Wrap can lower underhood temperatures by as much as 50 percent, and it withstands temperatures up to 1,200 degrees F continuous and 2,000 degrees F intermittent.

Inferno Heat Shields
Ideal for hoods, firewalls, mufflers, etc., these radiant heat shields come in three different grades: aluminum (900 degrees F continuous rating), stainless steel (1,800 degrees F continuous rating), and Inconel (2,200 degrees F continuous rating). They can be bent, folded, and twisted to fit over most any shape, and have an inner ceramic pad that can be trimmed and then folded over the outer alloy layer for a custom fit.

HP Turbo Heat Shields
These turbo heat bags keep turbo heat contained and can reduce radiant heat by up to 60 percent. Their custom fit design means that you don't have to trim or fit the heat shield blanket to fit your turbo housings. Available for T2, T3, T4, and T6 style turbo housings.
