Protect Your Head with a G-FORCE Racing Gear SA2020 Helmet

Most sanctioning bodies allow you to use a Snell-approved race helmet for 10 years. After that it’s time to replace it. If your helmet falls is that old or you just want a helmet with the latest safety features, you want a Snell SA2020-rated helmet like the ones made by G-FORCE Racing Gear. After all, it’s your noggin.

All G-FORCE Racing Gear helmets have a multiple-density impact liner that compresses laterally to spread and dissipate the load during an impact. They also have a padded and flame-retardant comfort liner with TrackPAT vision enhancing print that breaks up the distracting solid color in your peripheral vision. The means a G-FORCE Racing Gear helmet fits comfortably so you can concentrate on driving.

Other G-FORCE Racing Gear SA2020 helmet features include:
• Reinforced mounting points for helmet restraint devices built into the shell
• Chin strap attached to the shell with stainless hex-head bolts
• Full face helmets have a clear, optically correct polycarbonate shield with a rubber seal to keep out dirt and debris
• M6-threaded head and neck restraint anchors

Summit Racing carries several styles of G-FORCE Racing Gear SA2020 helmets including these:

Rift Series Helmets
These affordable full-face helmets feature a composite shell with multiple intake and exhaust ventilation ports at the crown and chin bar to help keep you cool in the heat of racing. Spend a bit more and you can get a Rift Carbon Fiber Series helmet. It has a composite/carbon fiber shell to reduce weight and a cool carbon fiber-pattern finish.

REVO Series Helmets
REVO helmets have G-FORCE Racing Gear’s Siphon12 Ventilation Network, a system of six intake ports, two forehead ports, and four rear-facing exhaust ports designed to move heated air out of the helmet. The bottom of the helmet is contoured to work with today’s helmet restraint devices. You can get a REVO helmet with a composite shell or a composite/carbon fiber shell.

The REVO Air helmet has the same shell design as the other REVO helmets, but has an integrated high-flow, low-profile top air inlet for use with a forced air system instead of ventilation ports.

Nova Series Helmets
At 3.3 pounds, Nova Series helmets are the lightest G-FORCE Racing Gear offers. Both Snell SA2020- and FIA FIA8859-approved, they have a composite/carbon fiber shell; an ultra-thin 2.5mm shield; smaller shield lock and head restraint anchors; and a lightweight graphite/EPS impact liner. Other features include:
• Extra-large eye ports to provide the largest field of view possible
• Forward-facing top air scoop, six chin and 2 forehead ventilation ports
• a top air scoop that can be swapped for an optional scoop for use with a forced air system
• Soft knit comfort liner with adjustable pads to fine-tune helmet fit
• Memory foam ear liner pads

Want an even lighter helmet? Get the G-FORCE Racing Gear SuperNova. It has the same features of the Nova helmet, but has a 100% carbon fiber shell instead of composite to reduce the helmet’s weight to less than three pounds.

Summit Racing also carries other G-FORCE Racing Gear helmets plus racing harnesses; driving suits, gloves, and shoes; flame-retardant head socks and balaclavas; and window nets.
