The Uni-Spotter was one of the first stud welders on the market and set the standard for the industry. With a Uni-Spotter, you can pull a dent quickly and easily without having to drill holes in the body panel. Just slip a weld stud in the welder, press it against the body panel, and pull the trigger to weld the stud to the metal. Then, pull on the stud with the included slide hammer to remove the dent. The stud is easy to remove and there are no holes to weld or putty shut, making for a clean repair.

The Uni-Spotter Stud Welder Kits feature a 110V welding gun with H&S’ Stud Ease technology that holds the stud regardless of where you point the gun—no more losing a stud because it fell out of the gun. The kits also come with Flexpert copper-coated steel studs, plus a slide hammer with a four-jaw collet that grips the stud and won’t let go until you release it.

The Starter Kit features a 1,500-amp welding gun that H&S says is the most powerful gun available in an entry-level kit. You also get a pack of 500 2.2mm studs, a welding tip for use with studs up to 2.6mm in diameter, and a slide hammer.

The Stinger Plus Kit has a 2,000-amp welding gun, 2.2mm and 2.6mm studs, welding tip, and a slide hammer. It also includes these items:
• A shrink welding tip to shrink body panels without burning through the metal—a great alternative to using a torch
• Body side molding rivet tip for welding retaining rivets to a panel. You also get OEM-style rivets that attach to the clips on the molding
