QA1 GM 2.0 Tubular Control Arms: Next Generation Handling

When it comes to control arms for your GM A-body, G-body, Camaro/Firebird, and S-series truck, be aware that one size does not fit all. That’s why QA1’s new GM 2.0 Tubular Control Arms are engineered in versions optimized for street performance, drag racing, and pro-touring/track day use. Designed for use with QA1’s Pro Coil coilover shocks, the control arms revise the factory suspension geometry for a better ride, sharper cornering, and harder launches.

QA1 2.0 Control Arms feature:
• High-strength, thin-wall steel tubing reduces weight
• Upper control arms weigh less than 7 pounds each, lower arms less than 9.75 pounds each
• QA1 Ultimate ball joints provide smooth, bind-free operation and preload adjustability
• Strong, lightweight billet aluminum cross-shafts
• Street and Pro-Touring arms have upper and lower bump stops and accept factory style sway bars
• Black powdercoat finish

The 2.0 Street Control Arms increase positive caster compared to OEM arms for better handling and weigh less to reduce unsprung weight. Polyurethane bushings provide a comfortable ride and are durable enough for extended street use.

The 2.0 Pro-Touring Control Arms feature one inch-longer upper ball joints to improve caster gain. That helps improve tire grip when cornering. Ultra-low-friction composite bushings provide bind-free movement, and increased positive caster improves straight line stability.

The 2.0 Drag Race Control Arms have ultra-low-friction composite bushings and low-friction ball joints for optimal weight transfer during launch. The upper arms have an adjustable droop-stop so you can dial in front end rise for optimized launches.

QA1 GM 2.0 Tubular Control Arms are available for popular GM vehicles including 1964-72 A-body, 1967-81 Camaro/Firebird, 1978-88 A- and G-body, and 1983-2004 S-series trucks.
