Refresh Your Ragtop with a New Kee Auto Top Convertible Top
Kee Auto Top started out as an interior trim shop, so they know the ins and outs of making a quality convertible top. Kee uses the most precise patterns available to ensure the best fit. They source materials from the same mills as the OEM use. Tops are made on state-of-the-art computerized cutting machines and sewn together with high-quality polyester thread for durability and long life. Seams are dielectrically sealed to withstand water penetration, and all tops are test-fitted by experienced interior trimmers to double-check the fit.
Kee Auto Top makes convertible tops for popular domestic and import cars made from the late 1930s through the 2000s. Summit Racing carries tops in several materials including these:
Vinyl and Cloth Convertible Tops
Vinyl convertible tops are made from 36 ounce pinpoint vinyl, a two-ply composite material with a PVC outer layer and a dyed cotton sateen fabric lining. Cloth soft tops are made from a multi-layer composite material with 100 percent acrylic outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and dyed cotton or poly/cotton drill fabric lining.
Stayfast Convertible Tops
Kee Auto Top Stayfast Convertible Tops are a nice upgrade from vinyl. They are made with Haartz Stayfast canvas material with an acrylic square weave facing, a rubber inner layer, and cotton/polyester backing.
Superior Convertible Tops
Kee Auto Top Superior convertible tops are very popular for American cars from the 1950s to the early 1990s. They’re made from Haartz Superior pinpoint vinyl, which has a grain that looks like little dots when viewed up close. The tops have PVC top coat and a cotton backing.
Chrysler Crush Convertible Tops
Mopar used a ‘crush grain’ leather-look material for convertibles made from 1968 through 1971. Kee Auto Top offers crush grain tops in black/black or black/white vinyl.
Summit Racing also carries Kee Auto Top replacement rear windows, frame pads, and replacement vinyl roof tops for GM and Dodge cars.
