Repair Your Subframe, Finish Off Your Resto, and Get Accurate Speedometer Readouts with the Latest Summit Racing Brand Products
What’s the latest from the Summit Racing team? They have a front subframe repair kit for GM X- and F-body cars, body decals for GM and Ford vehicles, and kits to restore speedometer accuracy on cars with GM transmissions.
Summit Racing™ Front Subframe Repair Kit
Save your GM X- or F-body subframe from being erased from existence with a Summit Racing™ Front Subframe Repair Kit. Laser-cut from 12-gauge steel, these repair plates will overhaul subframes suffering from severe rust, accident damage, poor jacking practices, or wallowed-out bushing holes. The material is slightly thicker than the OE metal to add additional strength, too.
The Summit Racing™ Front Subframe Repair Kit includes six repair plates; cutting and welding is required for installation. The kit fits the following vehicles:
- 1973-74 Buick Apollo and Oldsmobile Omega
- 1967-69 Chevy Camaro
- 1968-74 Chevy Nova and Chevy II
- 1971-74 Pontiac Ventura
Put the finishing touch on your muscle car redux with Summit Racing™ Restoration Body Decals. These machine-stamped, high-quality replica adhesive decals fit your car’s hood, trunk, scoop, visor, windshield, or any other place you want to display them. They are available for dozens of GM and Ford applications.
Summit Racing™ Speedometer Gear Kit
Recalibrate your classic GM’s speedometer for accurate readings with this Summit Racing™ Speedometer Gear Kit. It’s just the ticket for cruisers whose car is going a different speed than what’s indicated on the speedometer due to rear axle ratio and/or tire swaps. Simply dial in different gear ratios until you find the combo that gets your speedometer on point again.
The Summit Racing™ Speedometer Gear Kit fits GM Powerglide, TH350, and Muncie transmissions with .875-inch speedometer housing bores. The kit includes the following components:
- Four drive gears (7-, 8-, 9-, and 10-tooth)
- Five driven gears (18-, 19-, 20-, 21-, and 22-tooth)
- Speedometer bullet and mounting O-ring
- Tab bolts
- Drive gear and locator clip
