UltraHook Winch Shackles

Factor 55 UltraHook Winch Shackles combine the quick attachment of a traditional hook with the added safety and reliability of Factory 55’s patented Closed System Winching™. This system uses rigging made entirely of closed link hardware that prevents winch lines from accidentally disconnecting during load shifts or line slacking. These failures are a common problem with weak, spring-loaded safety clasps.

The UltraHook has a shackle mounting hole machined into the body of the hook. The mounting hole accepts screw pins from common 3/4-inch shackles and soft shackles up to 1/2-inch. A high-strength titanium double shear latch pin in the hook's body securely locks the safety latch in place to create a true closed-loop system.

Factor 55 Extreme Duty Kinetic Energy Ropes

Factor 55 Extreme Duty Kinetic Energy Ropes are engineered to stretch up to 30 percent of their total length to store and release kinetic energy. That means easier vehicle extraction from sand, mud, and snow. They are made from double-braided nylon and feature a polymer coating for extreme durability, flexibility, and protection against abrasion, UV light, and moisture absorption. Rubberized rope eyes maximize durability at the wear points of the rope.

Choose from these options:
• 1-inch O.D. x 30-foot rope for full-sized trucks and SUVs from 6,500-8,500 lbs., 33,500 lbs. minimum breaking strength
• 7/8-inch O.D. x 30-foot rope for Jeeps, mid-sized trucks, and SUVs from 4,000-6,500 lbs., 28,300 lbs. minimum breaking strength


Factor 55 FlatLink Rope Guard

The Factor 55 FlatLink Rope Guard extends the life of synthetic winch ropes by protecting them against UV light, abrasions, and impacts. All exposed synthetic rope surfaces are positioned behind the guard and fairlead, allowing you to use it as a skid surface when climbing tall vertical obstacles. The guard features Kaiser 6000 Series billet aluminum construction with a clearcoat finish for maximum corrosion protection. Installation takes just minutes with the supplied rivets.
