RHS LS Engine Race Blocks Now Available

Base your LS engine on one of these RHS Race Blocks and you can sleep at night knowing you have a race-prepped block that can handle big horsepower, especially in a turbo- or supercharged application. Available in standard and tall deck height combinations, the aluminum blocks feature a raised cam centerline and outboard main oiling galley. That provides enough rod clearance to swing a 4.600 inch stroke crankshaft and helps minimize power-robbing crankcase windage at high rpm.

RHS packs many other race-ready features into its LS blocks:
• Cast from heavy-duty A357-T6 aluminum
• Siamese cast cylinder walls with extra-long press-in, spun cast iron liners
• Main cap surface area maximized at mating surface with large fillets from cap to cross bolts for added strength
• .750 inch thick decks
• Significantly increased windage passage area under bores and around main caps
• Priority main oiling with galley moved outboard for long stroke clearance
• -12 AN front and rear side oil feeds for use with dry sump oiling systems
• cast-in and machined provisions for piston oil squirters
• Six head bolt design with full water jacket around the cylinders (based on LS7 design)
• Extra large windows in valley for access to inboard/sixth head bolt
• .842 inch lifter bores standard with material available for oversized lifter access
• Provisions for Gen III and Gen IV cam sensor, knock sensor, and valley covers
• OEM and motor plate mounting points
• Rolled threads on all threaded holes for added strength

The RHS LS Race Blocks are available in standard (9.240”) & tall (9.750”) deck heights. Each block is CT scanned to insure precise, consistent castings. The blocks come an ARP main stud kit, a cam thrust plate, and an aluminum rear cover.
