Rip Around Trails without Losing Your Friends with a Garmin Treadâ„¢ Powersport Navigation Device
Anyone that’s spent time riding off-road will agree that it’s a lot more fun (and safer) riding with friends. Forget the age-old ways of finding your friends by aimlessly driving around until you eventually run into each other or listening for their engines in the distance—stay connected the entire ride with a Garmin Tread Powersport Navigation Device.
This rugged navigation unit is preloaded with off-road topography of North America with private and public land info, forest service roads and trails, and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) wilderness areas crucial for ATV, side-by-side, snowmobile riders. The included Group Ride Radio allows tracking for up to 20 other vehicles with no cellular coverage needed. The push-to-talk fist mic lets you easily stay in communication, and you can pair the Tread device with your helmet or headset (sold separately) enabled with BLUETOOTH® technology for hands-free communication.
Built-in sensors such as an altimeter, barometer, compass, gyroscope, and pitch/roll gauges help you safely navigate challenging terrain. Installation of the Tread unit is fast and simple thanks to the included powered mount, wiring harness, and roll bar tube mount.
Tread is also a useful tool when you head back to civilization. With its go-anywhere guidance, you can be confident you will make it home thanks to spoken turn-by-turn directions and driver alerts for sharp curves, red light/speed cameras, and more.
