Designed for high-horsepower dragsters, door cars, and bracket racers, Pro Powerglide Level 5 Transmissions are engineered from the input shaft out to handle the violent shock loads that come with transbrake launches, sticky slicks, and aggressive chassis setups. Their lightweight design minimizes rotating mass and reduces power-robbing parasitic loss, which helps get more power to the tires while delivering the repeatability racers need to stay competitive.

• Rated up to 1,500 horsepower
• SFI-certified aftermarket case
• Built-in transmission and flexplate shields
• No-creep transbrake design
• Billet aluminum, full-manual valve body with forward shift pattern
• Proprietary 30-spline Vasco billet alloy high-flow input shaft
• Straight cut planetary with 1.80 first gear ratio
• 8-clutch drum with red race clutches
• 7-bolt high volume pump
• 4340 billet steel output shaft
• Deep aluminum pan

FTI Performance Pro Powerglide Level 5 Transmissions are machined and hand-assembled in-house by one builder, so all clearances are set to exacting tolerances for maximum performance and durability. They are available with your choice of standard length or shorty tailhousings.
