Sanderson Street Rod Headers Now Available at Summit Racing Equipment

Leak-free headers from the guys who have been making them since 1964.

What They Are: Sanderson Street Rod Headers

Why They’re Cool: No gaskets, no leaks. Sanderson makes its headers with laser-cut, 3/8 inch thick steel flanges. Weld beads are built up and expertly ground around the exhaust ports and bolt holes to such precise tolerances, all you need to seal the headers is a 1/8 inch bead of Permatex Ultra Black silicone gasket maker.

Sanderson didn’t skimp on the rest of the header, either. All headers are made from 16 gauge steel tubing, and are designed fit as tightly as possible to the engine for maximum clearance in cramped engine compartments. In fact, Sanderson claims its headers are the tightest-fitting available. Choose from shorty, block hugger, and full-length styles.
