Scavenge that Exhaust Gas Better with Dynatech Drag Race Headers

Dynatech earned its chops making drag race headers that really scavenge exhaust gas out of your engine’s combustion chambers so the incoming air and fuel can enter, ignite, and make glorious horsepower. Whatever you race—dragster or doorslammer, stock or strut suspension, even Mustangs with GM motors—Summit Racing has Dynatech headers for it.

Dynatech models key interference and mounting points under the hood and around the chassis so engineers can plot header tube routing, tube length, and diameter for the best fit and function. That means you get headers that work better with a minimum of fitment issues.

Dynatech Drag Racing Headers are made from 16-gauge steel and have thick CNC laser-cut and surfaced flanges for a virtually leakproof seal.

Downsweep and Pro Stock Headers for Big Chevy
Have a big block Chevy in your drag car? Dynatech Downsweep and Pro Stock headers have 3/8 inch thick flanges with raised ports for improved flow. Their downswept design gives exhaust gases a straight shot out of the cylinder head exhaust ports into the equal-length primaries. Exhaust gases travel several inches into the headers before hitting any bend, which boosts exhaust flow. Other features include port gussets to eliminate cracking and jig-located mounting tabs for the collectors.

Summit Racing also carries Dynatech’s High Velocity Merge Collectors to go with your new headers. The four into one collectors are 12 inches long and feature the optimum reduction angle to increase torque output and add 5 to 10 extra horsepower.

Available Primary Tube Sizes
• 2.25 inch, standard port spacing, for strut-style cars, ceramic-coated
• 2.25 to 2.375 inch stepped, standard port spacing, ceramic-coated or chrome
• 2.375 to 2.5 inch stepped, standard port spacing, ceramic-coated or chrome

Engine Swap Headers for Fox/SN-95 Mustang
Dynatech Engine Swap Headers are designed to fit a small block or big block Chevy, GM LS, or 351 Windsor into 1979-2004 Mustangs with AFCO, AJE, and other tubular K-member. The long-tube headers allow you to use the transmission of your choice, provide excellent ground clearance, and can be hooked up to a full exhaust system.

Dynatech Engine Swap Headers for Ford 351W, small block Chevy, and GM LS engines will clear the factory Mustang master cylinder, brake booster, and proportioning valve.

Available Applications
• GM LS/LSX, 1.875" primaries, 3" collectors
• Small Chevy, 1.750"-1.875" stepped primaries, 3" collectors
• Big Chevy, 2.125" primaries, 3.5" collectors
• Ford 351W, 1.750"-1.875" stepped primaries, 3" collectors

Dynatech MuscleMAXX drag headers are designed for cars with the engine in the stock location or slightly set back. They have 2.25 inch diameter primary tubes, fit angle or straight plug heads, and clear the clutch linkage. The MuscleMAXX headers also feature jig-located U-tabs for bolt-on collectors and a high-temperature ceramic coating.

Competition Headers for Big Chevy
Designed for 600 cubic inch and larger engines with spread-port cylinder heads, Dynatech Competition Headers fit rear-engine dragsters and tube chassis door cars with a strut style front suspension.
