Made from 100% synthetic base stock, the lubricants have a super-secret proprietary formula that clings to areas of high heat and friction, and forms a coating that provides exceptional wear protection without creating frictional drag that can cost you horsepower. But TriboDyn wanted you to see how good its lubricants really are, so they made a video showing how its formula works. The test bed consists of a lathe and a piece of steel bar stock. As the bar stock is tightened against the lathe’s spinning shaft, the more pressure is created between the two. This simulates what happens when metal parts in your engine come in contact.

The testing runs like this:
• Lubrication with a high-quality conventional motor oil
• Lubrication with conventional oil treated with the TriboDyn oil additive package
• Lathe run with no additional lubrication
• Lathe run with no additional lubrication with heat applied

It’s the last two tests that are the most interesting. They show that even with the oil itself burned off, the coating formed by the Tribodyn additive package still reduces friction and protects against wear under extreme pressure and heat. Don’t take our word for it—watch the video for yourself.

2-Cycle Premium Synthetic Oil
TriboDyn 2-Cycle Premium Synthetic Oil is formulated for use in fuel-lubricated and fuel-injected two-stroke engines including outboard motors, motorcycles and ATVs, snowmobiles, chain saws, and lawn mowers. The oil is clean-burning to reduce smoking and prevent spark plug fouling. It also prevents piston rings and exhaust power valves from sticking, reduces carbon deposits and piston skirt scoring, and is easy to mix with gasoline at cold temperatures down to -53° F.

Gear Oil
TriboDyn gear oil has been race-proven to provide complete protection in differentials and manual transmissions. It reduces friction and operating temperatures, and also helps prevent metal microwelding and galling. The gear oil is available in 50W, 75W-90, 75W-140, and ISP 680 EP formulations.
