Shafer's Classic Reproductions Exhaust Systems and Restoration Parts Now Available at Summit Racing

Not all reproduction exhaust systems are created equal. Shafer's Classic Reproductions exhaust systems are manufactured to OEM specifications from steel or stainless steel using state-of-the-art CNC equipment. OEM factory components are laser-scanned into the CNC pipe benders to get the bends just right. In fact, Shafer’s says every pipe is formed within 0.0005 inches of the OEM part, allowing them to spit out an exact duplicate each time the part is produced. 

You can get a factory-correct system that will make the show judges happy, one with turbo style or glasspack mufflers, or a system made for use with headers.

Hose Clamps for Chevy
Worm gear clamps are not correct for most pre-1970 Chevy and other GM vehicles. Shafer’s makes the correct Wittek tower clamps and spring-style clamps for radiator and heater hose. We also have the correct compression clamps for heater bypass hose.

Drum Brake Hardware Kits
Some drum brake hardware kits don’t quite fit as they should. Shafer’s kits are factory-correct down to the washers so they fit as GM intended. You even get the correct star adjusters that some kits don’t even have. We have hardware kits for front and rear drums on 1951-58 Chevy cars.

Fuel Filler Neck Hose
You don’t think much about the filler neck hose until there is a big puddle of gasoline under your car. These are OEM correct, but are made with modern materials so they’ll last longer, even with today’s garbage gas. You even get the correct Wittek clamps.

Ground Strap Kit for 1955-57 Chevy
Has your shoebox’s electrical system gone crazy? Chances are you’re missing the proper ground straps. This kit includes the three 12-gauge copper straps in the proper lengths. You even get the fasteners.
