COMP Cams Xtreme Energy DLC Flat Tappet Lifters are the solution for the lack of zinc and phosphorus (ZDDP) from your favorite motor oil—a major cause of flattened camshaft lobes.

The lifters’ Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) produces an extremely hard, tough, and slippery surface on the lifter faces. That reduces friction between the cam lobe and the lifter, extending the life of the lifters and camshaft while significantly reducing the likelihood of flattened lobes. Moreover, the DLC coating virtually eliminates the need for the traditional break-in procedure associated with cast iron camshafts and flat tappet lifters.

COMP Cams Xtreme Energy DLC Flat Tappet Lifters are compatible with all cast iron and steel hydraulic flat tappet camshafts.
