Sikky Manufacturing LS Engine Swap Components Now Available at Summit Racing

For years, drift enthusiasts have known there is no better horsepower bang for the buck than stuffing a GM LS engine under the hood of their Nissan, BMW, or other rear-wheel drive import hot rods. Sikky Manufacturing got in on the ground floor with components designed to make an LS swap as painless as possible.

Motor Mounts
Sikky Manufacturing motor mounts are computer-designed to properly place the engine in the car and assure correct driveshaft alignment when used with Sikky’s engine mount bushings, oil pan, and transmission crossmember. The mounts are CNC-machined from solid hunks of 6061 T-6 aluminum and come with high-grade mounting hardware.

• 1989-98 Nissan 240SX
• 1992-99 BMW E36

Oil Pans
These fully welded aluminum oil pans feature a CNC-machined, 1/2 inch thick 6061 billet flange and back plate for structural rigidity on par with a GM factory pan. Most other swap pans are made from thin sheet steel and are nowhere near as strong or rigid. Other features include:
• Machined gasket surface to ensure no gasket leaks
• Back plate compatible with factory dust covers to keep debris out of the bellhousing
• High ground clearance design keeps the pan from hanging out the bottom of the car
• 1/2” NPT drain plug
• 1/8” NPT oil temperature bung
Current Applications
• Universal-fit front sump, 6.80 quarts less filter
• 1992-99 BMW E36 mid-sump with bottom remote oil filter adapter, 5 quarts less filter

Relocation Short Throw Shifters for T-56 Transmissions
These universal-fit shifters move the shift rod location rearward from the factory GM location, eliminating the need to modify a shifter to line it up with a vehicle’s transmission tunnel. They also reduce shift throws by 44 percent, according to Sikky. The shifters feature CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum baseplates, CNC-machined stainless steel shift rods and linkage, and a boot on the bottom side of the front shift rod to eliminate leaks.

• T-56, 5.5” relocation
• T-56 Magnum, 4”, 7”, or 9”relocation

Pull-Back Hydraulic Handbrakes
These handbrakes have nothing to do with an LS swap, but you’re going to need one to play in the drifting big leagues. These Sikky Manufacturing pull-back hydraulic handbrakes have a rigid design for smooth, precise action. Features include:
• 9:1 ratio
• 16” long billet aluminum handle
• Knurled urethane pistol grip
• 4340 chromoly relocation rod
• Available in reverse-mount for custom/modified e-brake setups
