Simpson Camlock Restraint Systems: Safety for Serious Racers

Simpson's SFI-16.1-approved Camlock Restraint Systems are designed for serious racers. The harnesses are made from 3 inch military grade webbing and feature a 6061-T6 billet aluminum alloy buckle with hardened steel tumblers, stainless steel belt tabs, and drop-forged steel roller adjusters.

Every Camlock harness comes with lap, shoulder, and submarine belts--you choose the length (55 or 62 inches), shoulder belt style (Y-type, individual, or 5-way), and mounting type (bolt-in or wraparound). You also get to choose the type of adjuster (pull-up or pull-down style) and belt color (red, blue, black, or platinum).

Summit Racing also stocks Simpson's Latch-and-Link harnesses. They have the same belt and mounting choices as the Camlock Restraints, but feature either a standard size drop-forged alloy latch system or Simpson's exclusive LF/X latches, which have a reduced-size adjuster and a design that prevents accidental release. They're SFI 16.1-certified too.
