Speedflow USA Fittings, Adapters, and Filters: Plumb Your Vehicle with the Good Stuff

Australians are just as serious about high performance and racing as the rest of us. Speedflow has been making AN fittings, hose, fuel filters, and other plumbing components in Australia for almost 40 years, and thequality is second to none. That’s why many Aussie drag, Touring Car, and land speed racers trust nothing but Speedflow plumbing. If works for them, it will work for you.

Hose Ends
Speedflow hose ends are made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and bent using specialized equipment to produce a solid, one-piece bend. That makes them stronger and more compact than brazed hose ends that are physically larger and may have alignment or gap issues at the joints that can affect flow.

Speedflow 100, 200, 400, and 490 Series hose ends are reusable. 100, 200, and 400 Series ends can be rotated 360 degrees to make your plumbing jobs easier, and are available in red/blue or black anodized finishes.

This Speedflow hose and fitting guide has a ton of information on proper fitting selection and assembly.

100 Series Hose Ends are designed for use with non-PTFE (Teflon-lined) nylon and stainless braided hose on coolant, fuel, oil, and other low-pressure systems. Recommended for use for gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and ethanol blend fuel line.

200 Series Hose Ends are designed for use with PTFE braided hose on high-pressure lines for brake and clutch systems, turbo oil feeds, nitrous oxide, and mechanical gauges. Nickel-plated steel adapter fittings in -3 AN and -4 AN sizes are also available.

400 Series Hose Ends are a pushlock style that provides a leak-proof seal for low-pressure hydraulic systems like coolant, oil, and methanol fuel line.

490 Series Hose Ends are designed for power steering systems. They have a tapered, non-swivel design, are reusable, and are tested to burst pressures that surpass automotive power steering pressure ratings.

550 Series Hose Ends are very lightweight and have a crimp-fit design—the hose is inserted over the nipple of the fitting and the collar is crimped over the hose creating a leak-proof seal. You’ll need a crimping tool to make up this type of line, but they are quicker and easier to assemble than traditional AN fittings.

AN Fuel Filters
Speedflow AN Fuel Filters are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for maximum protection. A mounting bracket for Short and Long Series filters is available.

Short Series Fuel Filters have a three inch long body and a 10-micron stainless steel mesh element to filter extra-fine particles. They’re available with -6, -8, or -10AN inlets and outlets.

Long Series Fuel Filters have a 5.725 inch long body and provide more filtering area than the Short Series filters. Your choice of 65- or 100-micron stainless steel mesh elements.

Micro Series Fuel Filters are just 1.10 inch long without fittings—perfect for use in tight spaces. They have a 44-micron wire screen element and available with -6 or -8AN inlets and outlets.

Summit Racing carries other Speedflow plumbing components including these:
• Push-on EFI fittings
• Bulkhead adapter fittings
• AN to tube adapter fittings
• Adapter and reducer fittings
• Tee fittings
