Start Your Deuce Coupe Build with United Pacific Bodies and Parts from Summit Racing

United Pacific makes some of the highest-quality steel 1932 Ford five-window bodies available. In fact, Body Number One was used by street rod legend Roy Brizio to build Edelbrock’s 75th Anniversary ’32 in 2013.

The United Pacific ’32 is the real deal—just ask Roy.

“We’ve built three highboys and one full-fendered car using United Pacific bodies,” Brizio said. “We’ve had people stand back and take a good look to see if they could tell if they had original Ford bodies, and most couldn’t. The quality of the United Pacific bodies is outstanding, and with finding original cars becoming more and more difficult, these bodies make our job so much easier.”

Officially licensed by Ford Motor Company, the body’s panels are stamped out of 18 gauge steel on hand-built, permanent steel dies to duplicate every detail of Henry’s original. Each body is bucked in a dedicated fixture, then riveted and spot-welded just like the factory did 85 years ago. Another 12 hours are devoted to TIG-welding the seams, and another day or so doing final assembly.

The body has a stock height roof and comes assembled with the wood inner structure, doors with latches, and a trunk-style hinged deck lid. That wood substructure is all solid ash hardwood with the mounting holes drilled in the factory locations. Even the mounting screws are recessed exactly as Ford did it.

You can get your United Pacific 1932 Ford five-window body with an original style fabric roof and cowl vent, original roof and filled cowl, solid roof with cowl vent, or solid roof and cowl. The firewall and dash are sold separately—Summit Racing has them too. In fact, we have most of the parts needed to finish a United Pacific body or rehab an original Ford body including:
• OEM-style firewalls and floors
• Quarter panels, deck lids, and roof assemblies
• Cowl side panels, cowl assemblies, and cowl vent panels
• Door shells, hinges, and latch assemblies
• Windshield frame, window garnish moldings, and window regulators
• Sheet metal structural components
• OEM and hot rod style dash panels
• Interior wood components and assemblies

And if you like ’32 Ford trucks, you’re in luck. United Pacific is now making steel cabs and other body parts to restore a ’32 truck or to use as the base for a rod build. The truck components are licensed by Ford and made to the same exact OEM specifications as United Pacific’s coupe parts.

When it comes to accessories for your ’32 build—or any hot rod project, for that matter— Summit Racing has you covered with United Pacific accessories like ’32 Ford taillights; Dietz, Kingbee, and Guide style headlight assemblies; mirrors; door and window cranks, wheel covers; pedal pads, and much more.
