Start Your Overlanding Adventure with Summit Racing

So you’ve decided to try your hand at overlanding. Part off-roading, part camping, and part expedition, overlanding will be one of the biggest tests of your driving and outdoors skills you’ve ever faced.

The key to overlanding is being prepared—there are no travel plazas, supermarkets, or parts stores where you’re going. From food, water, and shelter to tools, spare parts, communications gear, and recovery equipment, everything you need has to fit in or on your vehicle. That vehicle also needs to be in tip-top shape and built to handle all sorts of terrain and road surfaces (assuming there are roads at all).

That requires a lot of planning, and Summit Racing is here to help. Our Overlanding Section features parts and gear to help you equip your overlanding vehicle from brands you trust like these:

• Tepui and Napier tents
• Surco and Sportrack roof racks
• DECKED bed storage systems for pickups
• Viair and ARB on-board air compressors
• Optima deep-cycle batteries, Samlex power inverters, Redarc battery management
• Teraflex and Skyjacker suspension kits
• Fab Fours and Addictive Desert Designs bumpers
• Warn, Ramsey, and Superwinch winches
• Hi-Lift jacks and Bubba Rope tow ropes
• Rigid Industries and KC HiLites auxiliary lighting
• Garmin navigation systems
• ARB and Dometic refrigerators and coolers
• Mr. Heater shower systems
