Designed as direct replacements, these starters feature up to 4.0 horsepower motors, 4.75:1 gear reduction ratios, and 275 lbs.-ft of torque to ensure fast, reliable starting every time. In addition, Ultra Duty Diesel Starters have heavy-duty solenoids to handle the intense electrical load required to turn over high-compression diesel engines. Cast aluminum mounting blocks reduce weight while ensuring precise mounting. They also dissipate heat faster than steel mounting blocks, reducing heat soak so the starters maintain their high-torque performance. For extra toughness, the starter has a durable black wrinkle finish that protects against corrosion.

Powermaster Ultra Duty Diesel Starters are available for Ford Power Stroke and International engines; Dodge/Ram Cummins engines; and General Motors 6.2L/6.5L and 6.6L Duramax engines.
