Stiffen Your Camaro or Nova’s Chassis with Ridetech Bolt-On Subframe Connectors

Modern tires and aftermarket suspension components really push the limits of the factory chassis under your first-gen Camaro/Firebird or 1962-74 Nova. Stiffen that chassis with Ridetech Bolt-On Subframe Connectors and you’ll dramatically transform the handling and ride quality for an afternoon’s work.

The bolt-on connectors are fabricated from 1.5 x 3 inch, .125 inch-wall steel. The front of the connectors bolt through the original subframe and is held by the body bushings to enhance rigidity. The rear of the connectors have integral leaf spring mounts and bolt solidly to three existing floor pan bolt locations. Mounting hardware is included.

While you’re under the car, you should replace the factory rubber subframe bushings with a Ridetech Subframe Bushing Kit. The bushings are made from a combination of Delrin and aluminum that helps reduce chassis flex without the noise issues of polyurethane or all-aluminum bushings. The Ridetech bushings are the same height as the factory bushings and come with Grade 8 hardware.
