Stiffler's Suspension Components for Mustang Now Available at Summit Racing

Stiffler’s Suspension was started by a former Indy Car and open wheel racing tech head who loved Mustangs. He took what he learned about race chassis and suspension engineering and designed some awesome components that improve your Fox, SN95, New Edge, S197, or S550 Mustang’s handling at the track and on the street.

Summit Racing carries these Stiffler’s Suspension components:

Transmission Crossmembers for 1979-2004 Mustang
These single-tube crossmembers are the easy way to swap transmissions in your Mustang. They’re stronger and lighter than the OEM part, have plenty of clearance for big-tube exhaust systems, and maintain the factory drivetrain pinion angle. The crossmembers come with adjustable mounting brackets and an adjustable transmission mount so you can position the crossmember exactly where you need it. The crossmembers come with polyurethane bushings, but will accept solid bushings for race use.
Available Transmission Applications
• Borg-Warner T-5, T-45, T-56
• Tremec 3550, 3650, 6060, Magnum
• Tremec TKO 500 and 600
• Ford AOD, AODE, 4R70W, 6R80
• Ford C-4 and C-6
• GM Powerglide, TH-350, TH-400

Driveshaft Safety Loops
Keep your driveshaft where it belongs with a Stiffler’s Suspension driveshaft loop. They are two pounds lighter than other loops and are NHRA-accepted. The powdercoated steel driveshaft loops install with no drilling or welding required, and can be used with most manual or automatic transmissions, aluminum driveshafts, and most exhaust systems. They’re available for 1979-2017 Mustangs.

FIT System for 1979-2004 Mustang
The Fully Integrated Technology (FIT) System combines weld-in subframe connectors, stiffening rails, and a web brace that ties everything together in a matched system to virtually eliminate the “rubber band” feel of the stock Mustang chassis. The FIT System allows the suspension to work as designed for improved handling, ride quality, and power transfer. That means any suspension tuning you do won’t be lost due to chassis flex. A stiffer chassis also reduces or eliminates interior rattles and extends the life of your Mustang.

Other features include:
• Maintains existing ground clearance
• Increases side impact safety
• No floors to cut, interior to remove, or lines to relocate
• Weld locations free of powdercoating—saves you time
• Slide-2-Size web brace mounting system makes installation nearly effortless—just slide into place and weld in

The web brace, stiffening rails, and subframe connectors are also available separately.

Summit Racing also carries Stiffler’s Suspension adjustable Panhard bars, shock/strut tower braces, and braided stainless steel brake line kits.
