Summit Racing™ Data Acquisition Kit and Dash Panel Pro Packs: Data Aquisition Made Easy

A data acquisition system is invaluable for keeping tabs on how your race car is behaving on the track. Fitting one used to involve hacking up your dash panel or putting the unit somewhere that was less than optimum for easy viewing.

We solved that issue for you with our Summit Racing™ Data Acquisition Kit and Dash Panel Pro Packs. The Pro Packs are based around Classic Thunder Road’s dash inserts. Molded from durable ABS plastic, the panels replace the factory instrument panel and have a cutout designed to house a Racepak IQ3 Data Recorder or a Holley EFI Digital Dash Gauge. Some panels also have openings and cutouts for factory dash components.

Racepak IQ3 Data Recorder
• 47-channel data logger records up to 100 samples per second
• 24 programmable sensor inputs
• Onboard GPS provides speed, lap time, and lap number information—no wheel speed sensor needed

• One V-Net cable provides connection to all sensors used, eliminating complex wiring

• Information stored on removable MicroSD card—data can be downloaded to a laptop with included DataLink software

• Plug and play connection for Holley EFI systems

• Virtual switch panel (replaces the need for physical switches)
