Summit Racing™ Drop-Down Battery Boxes Now Available

Don’t have room in the trunk for a battery—or don’t have a trunk at all? Consider mounting your battery under the floor of your vehicle. Doing so allows better weight distribution, unclutters your engine compartment, and provides space for an auxiliary battery.

Summit Racing™ Drop-Down Battery Boxes are designed for under-floor batteries. They accept most standard size batteries and are designed to drop down for easier charging or other maintenance. The battery boxes are available in stainless steel and black powdercoated steel and come with a battery hold-down. The boxes measure 10.5 inches L x 7 inches W x 9.5 inches deep.

You’ll probably need a new set of battery cables, too. Our Summit Racing™ Battery Cable Kits come with one-gauge positive and negative cables with durable silicone covers, top post terminals, side-to-top post terminal adapters, firewall grommets, and Adel clamps.
