Summit Racing Equipment Now Offers BOLT Locks

Why They’re Cool: Using breakthrough technology, BOLT Locks can be keyed to your vehicle’s existing ignition key. That means you can secure your toolbox, tailgate, hitch, and spare tire with a single key.
The process is easy: just insert your ignition key into the BOLT Lock for the first time, turn it once, and the lock will mechanically remember your key forever.
BOLT Locks are made by Strattec, the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive locks and keys. As a result, every BOLT Lock uses automotive-grade components for maximum security and durability. The locks also feature a six-plate tumbler sidebar to prevent picking and bumping.
In addition to traditional padlocks and cable locks, Summit Racing has BOLT receiver locks, door/tailgate lock assemblies, and spare tire locks. BOLT Locks work with most common ignition key types from 1976 through today. You can use the “Vehicle Match” tool at BOLTLock.com to check compatibility.
