Summit Racing Equipment Now Offers Derale Performance Transmission Pans

Harness the air to extend the life of an automatic transmission.

By using the cooling power of the air passing underneath a vehicle to improve heat transfer, Derale Performance Transmission Pans significantly lower transmission fluid temperatures.

The pans feature a series of brazed turbulator-equipped airway tubes that allows ambient air to rush though. To further aid in cooling, each pan has a deeper dish to allow for more fluid capacity. The pans have been shown to effectively lower transmission temperatures by as much as 50 degrees. Temperature reduction of that magnitude could potentially double the life of a hard-working transmission.

Each airway tube is individually pressure tested to ensure a leak-free pan. A replacement gasket is included, along with a magnetic oil drain plug. The pans also have an additional 1/8 inch NPT bung for installing a transmission fluid temperature sending unit.
