Summit Racing™ Pro LS Wrist Pins for GM LS Pistons: The Toughest Pins on the Planet

Summit Racing™ Pro LS Wrist Pins are made to handle very high RPMs, boost, and nitrous. They're designed for use with Summit Racing™ Pro LS Pistons and other GM LS pistons that require a 2.250 inch long wrist pin and use Spiralocks to clear the crankshaft reluctor ring without notching. The 0.927 inch diameter wrist pins are made from H-13 tool steel rated at 289,000 PSI tensile strength, which is much stronger than the 9310 alloy tool steel other wrist pins are made from.

The Pro LS wrist pins also have a 0.215 inch thick wall—the thickest on the market—and weigh just 135 grams each so you don’t sacrifice less reciprocating weight for strength. Pro LS wrist pins are I.D.-honed to remove stress risers and are surface-finished to an RA of less than one to virtually eliminate binding issues.

You can also get Pro LS wrist pins with a diamond-like coating (DLC) that make them even more durable. The DLC coating further reduces friction to eliminate pin bore-galling issues that low-silicon 2618 alloy pistons can encounter under extreme conditions.
