Summit Racing™ Trunnion Upgrade Kit for GM LS Now Available
The factory GM LS engine rocker arm bearing design is a proven weak link when you upgrade the camshaft and/or valve springs. You can fix the problem with a set of expensive roller rocker arms, or you can upgrade the factory rocker arms with a Summit Racing™ Trunnion Upgrade Kit.
The Trunnion Upgrade Kit includes stronger trunnions with circlip grooves that withstand high valve spring pressures and repeated high RPM use. The kit also includes shaft needle bearings to handle sustained racing use, plus retainer clips that eliminate the bearing walk-out problem of the OE design. The kit comes with 16 trunnions and 32 bearings and retainer clips. No modifications to the OEM rocker arms are required, and you can reuse the rocker arm bolts.
The Summit Racing™ Trunnion Installation Kit that makes it easy to remove old trunnions and install new ones. Unlike other kits, it lets you change the trunnions using a bench vise instead of a cumbersome hydraulic press.
