TCI PRO-X Torque Converters are Designed for Serious Racing
TCI PRO-X torque converters are designed for serious drag racing. The converters can handle 500-plus cubic inch, 2,500 horsepower engines—including multi-stage nitrous, supercharged, and twin turbocharged engine—in classes like Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, and Outlaw Street.
TCI gives each Pro-X converter goodies like a bulletproof, hand-built steel stator, a furnace-brazed turbine and pump assembly, 3 sets of heavy-duty internal bearings to increase load capacity and reduce drag, and a billet mounting ring that provides a stronger mounting area. TCI’s proprietary HDT Coating™ lowers fluid temperatures and helps the converter cool down faster after a run.
Pro-X converters are available for GM TH-350 and TH-400, Chrysler A-727, and Ford C-4 transmissions.
