Tenhulzen Automotive Wheel Alignment Tools Now Available at Summit Racing

All the gee-whiz performance and suspension upgrades your piggybank can afford aren’t worth much if your vehicle’s wheel alignment isn’t right. Wheel alignment alters the angle and contact patch of your wheels and tires—and if that alignment isn’t spot-on, it will adversely affect handling, tire wear, tracking, and even gas mileage. You can’t always default to the factory alignment settings, either, especially if you race or have a modified suspension.

Now you can set wheel alignment correctly in your own garage with Tenhulzen wheel alignment tools. These tools allow you to check caster, camber, and toe after making suspension modifications, having nasty encounters with potholes, or when you need to dial in your car’s suspension at the track. Even if you take the vehicle to an alignment shop, you can use the Tenhulzen tools to determine a baseline alignment, saving you and the alignment tech lots of time.

Summit Racing carries these Tenhulzen wheel alignment tools:

Two-Wheel Alignment Package
The Tenhulzen Two-Wheel Alignment Package allows you to easily and accurately measure toe, camber, and caster.
Toe Measurement
The toe measurement plates have patent-pending wheel stand-offs to measure toe directly off the wheel, not the tire. That allows you to make extremely accurate measurements.
Camber Measurement
The integrated digital camber gauge is accurate to within 0.1 degree, and the gauge can be easily moved and calibrated for non-level surfaces in a matter of seconds.
Caster Measurement
Tenhulzen uses angled slots in the toe plates to measure caster, allowing you to set caster without using wheel turn plates. That saves you money.

Other features include:
• Fits 12 to 22 inch diameter wheels
• Two tape measures marked in 1/32 inch increments—twice the number competing tools offer
• Specially cut slots prevent the ends of the tape measures from falling out
• Degree toe alignment specs (commonly supplied by OEMs) can be used with the attached degree-to-inch conversion chart
• Plates and tape measures snap together into one unit for easy storage and portability

This Tenhulzen video will show you how the Two-Wheel Alignment Package works—it’s really slick.

Hands-Free Camber Gauge
This camber gauge uses the same wheel attachment parts that are found on professional (and expensive) alignment racks, so you get the most accurate measurements possible—no need for turn plates. The digital gauge is accurate to +/- 0.1 degree, and can be positioned and calibrated for non-level surfaces. The camber gauge fits 12 to 20 inch diameter wheels, and works on wheels with or without lips.

Summit Racing also carries Tenhulzen’s handheld camber gauge. It’s just as accurate as the hands-free version, but trades a little more effort for a more affordable price tag.

These videos explain how to use the gauges:

If you just want the toe plates used in the Tenhulzen wheel alignment package, Summit Racing has those available individually.
