The Latest Auto Metal Direct Restoration Parts Now Available at Summit Racing
Auto Metal Direct makes new restoration parts to help owners bring their Dodge, Plymouth, and GM musclecars back to life. Summit Racing now carries over 2,000 Auto Metal Direct body panels, hoods, bumpers, and many brackets and stampings to original factory specs—stuff that disappeared from the boneyard years ago. Here are a few of the latest:
Windshields
Factory glass is next to impossible to find these days. Fortunately, Auto Metal Direct offers reproduction windshields for GM and Mopar musclecars. The windshields are the correct thickness and fit like OEM, and many are available with factory-style tinting. Windshields for Dodge and Plymouth are officially licensed by Chrysler and have an authentic Pentastar logo. Windshields are not date coded.

Roof Panels
The factory installed lots of vinyl roofs in the 1960s and 1970s—and moisture usually found its way under the vinyl and turn those roofs into Swiss cheese. Rather than fix the old metal, use an Auto Metal Direct replacement roof panel. They are made to OEM spec and attach to the car’s A-pillars and quarter panels. The panels are EDP coated to prevent rust.

Trunk Floor Extensions
When you’re replacing a crunched quarter panel, chances are you’ll have to replace the trunk floor extension too. Not to worry—Summit Racing has Auto Metal Direct extensions to make the repair as painless as possible. Like all Auto Metal Direct sheetmetal, the extensions are EDP coated to prevent rust.
