Trick Flow Specialties Steam Line Plumbing Kits for GM LS Engines Now Available at Summit Racing Equipment

Trick Flow Steam Line Kits make it easy to modify the factory cylinder head steam tubes for use with aftermarket intake manifolds.

The factory crossover steam tubes used on GM’s LS engines interfere with aftermarket intake manifolds like the popular FAST composite manifolds. Until now, the only choices were to cut down the tubes and run a rubber hose between the tube stubs (a hassle and leak-prone) or to remove the tubes completely, plug the steam holes in the cylinder heads, and risk engine damage.

Trick Flow’s Steam Line Plumbing Kits solve the problems. The kits feature billet anodized aluminum, -4 AN male fittings that mate to the steam holes at each corner of the cylinder heads. Ninety-degree -4 AN female/hose barb fittings attach to the head fittings so you can run a length of 1/4 inch hose between the cylinder heads. The result is a clean, leak-free installation that clears all aftermarket intake manifolds. All necessary fittings, stainless steel bolts, hose, and O-rings are included. The cylinder head fittings are also available separately.
