Designed and manufactured in Australia, ACL Direct Replacement Rod and Main Bearing Sets are available for thousands of domestic and import applications in stock and common undersizes. They’re made to precise tolerances, with superior wall thickness accuracy for an exact fit and consistent operating clearances.

ACL Direct Replacement Rod and Main Bearings are available in two series:

Aluglide bearings are perfect for general-purpose applications, like daily-driven vehicles, where long life and wear resistance are key. The bearings are bi-metal, with an aluminum-tin-silicon overlay applied directly to a high-strength steel backing. They’re a perfect match for engines originally equipped with aluminum-based bearings.

Duraglide bearings are ideal for high-performance and race engine builds. They’re a tri-metal bearing with a copper-lead-tin babbit overlay, a lead lining, and high-strength steel backing. They withstand harsh operating conditions and high loads, resist seizure, and can embed dirt particles up to .015mm.
