Lightweight thermal protection that’s only 3/16" thick, DEI Floor and Tunnel Shield can be shaped and trimmed for a custom fit—ideal for minimal clearance areas. Use on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards, fuel cells, even exterior under-vehicle locations—anywhere heat is an issue.
Floor and Tunnel Shield has an embossed aluminum face bonded to a composite fiberglass insulation with a super high-temp, super-strong, pressure-sensitive backing that holds past 450° F and can withstand 1,750° F of direct continuous heat. It easily adheres to different surfaces including steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, plastic, and more.
