For example, it starts with the HIP (Hot Isostatic Pressed) castings. The HIP process significantly increases the casting’s density for improved tensile strength while drastically reducing its chance of failure due to fatigue. Trick-Alloy™ powdered metal valve guides provide excellent durability, heat resistance, oil retention, and better valve seal contact. Manley NK-844 Severe Duty and XH 432 Extreme Duty Inconel exhaust valves are proven to withstand extreme combustion chamber temperatures and big power adder performance.

Trick Flow GenX 280 HIP square port cylinder heads fit all LS3-style engine builds. Assembled heads are ready-to-install out of the box and include LS3 rocker stands. They are also available as bare castings for enthusiasts and professional engine builders who want to work their own special brand of magic on them.
