Unlock Hidden Performance and Features in Your Late Model Mopar with Z Automotive
In the history of reasons to start a business, none may be more original than this: I want to do donuts in my car.
It may seem incredible, but Z Automotive was established to realize that ambition. The company hit the scene in 2007 after its founder discovered he could not disable the traction control system in his new Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, thus preventing him from rippin’ wicked brodies in the name horsepower and tire smoke.
Automotive’s first product was the NoESP, a module that permits drivers to temporarily defeat the factory ESP (Electronic Stability Program) in 2005-13 Charger, Magnum, 300C, and Challenger vehicles. When the driver enables NoESP, all kinds of vehicular shenanigans like drifting, donuts, and burnouts are possible.
Z Automotive now has created an entire line of products for racing, towing, daily driving, and car shows to Mopars perform better and be more fun to drive, such as:
Tazer Programmer for Mopar Cars
Many of the features found on the higher trim levels of today’s Mopar vehicles are actually installed across the entire model range. By plugging the Tazer Programmer into the car’s OBD II port, you can unlock features like a backup camera, factory fog lights, daytime running lights, line lock functions, and Light Show mode.
Other specific features of Tazer programmer include:
- Enables the factory sport mode for 5-speed/8-speed automatic transmission-equipped vehicles with 4.3 and 8.4 inch Uconnect screens
- Enables SRT performance pages on vehicles with the 8.4 inch Uconnect screen
- Enables SRT performance timers in the EVIC display
- Enables the Street, Sport, Track, Valet, Custom, and ECO driving modes
- Enables support for full function of factory paddle shifters
- Permits Force RWD Mode for AWD vehicles equipped with an electronic transfer case
- Lets you use the steering wheel-mounted cruise control plus/minus buttons to manually shift gears in 5-speed automatic transmission-equipped vehicles
Front Camera Kit for Jeep JL Wrangler
This high-quality standard definition 480i front-mounted camera from Z Automotive sends a real-time video feed to any JL Wrangler’s 8.4 inch UConnect dash screen, making it the perfect trail camera. It also comes in quite handy when parking, too. The camera input can be activated at any time—regardless of which drive mode you’re the speed you’re travelling at—for as long as you want. It easily mounts to the grille and includes everything needed to install it with no wire splicing necessary.
Tazer Mini Programmer for Jeep JL Wrangler
The Tazer Mini Programmer provides access to many of the same great features in your JL Wrangler as other vehicles equipped with Tazer-series programmers do—maybe even more. It installs easily into the vehicle’s SGW module; your steering wheel buttons control all of the functions. The programmers unlocks features such as:
- Enable/disable accessories such as the backup camera, daytime running light dropout function, factory fog lights, factory halo lights, and one-touch lane change
- Change headlight, fog light, taillight, and turn signal type from standard to LED
- Enable/disable trailer tow setting, blind spot detection, and Parksense configuration
- Disable the front axle disconnect module and front and rear diff lockers for axle swaps
