Wagner Tuning Intercoolers and Turbo Downpipes Now Available at Summit Racing

We figure it takes one to know one, so it only makes sense that a German company like Wagner Tuning knows the ins and outs of Audi, Volkswagen, and BMW performance cars. Turns out we were right—Wagner Tuning makes some really nice intercoolers and turbo downpipes for turbocharged German vehicles. Wagner Tuning also makes parts for Ford vehicles with Ecoboost engines, so they speak American too.

Intercoolers
Wagner Tuning intercoolers have an aluminum tube and fin core that offers more frontal area and volume than the factory intercooler. The intercoolers have internal turbulators and cast aluminum end tanks, so they pose less restriction to airflow than the factory part. That means less backpressure and more cold air going into the turbo. The intercoolers have a protective anti-corrosion coating that also has excellent heat-dissipating properties.

Most Wagner Tuning intercoolers are direct swaps for the factory parts, and are available for many late model Audi, BMW, Ford EcoBoost, and VW vehicles—heck, we’ve got one for Dodge trucks with a 6.7L Cummins diesel. All intercoolers are for racing use only.

Turbo Downpipes
Made from 304 stainless steel, these downpipes reduce backpressure for more horsepower and torque. They also reduce heat soak so the turbo will live longer. The downpipes are direct replacements for OEM, and some are available with an integral catalytic converter. They’re for racing use only.
