What You Need to Pull Brake Drums, Keep Tools at Hand, and Enjoy Creative Destruction

Perhaps the only things more fun than cars are the tools used to build them. We understand—that’s why we stock a ton of hand tools, power tools, and shop gear for just about every car project you can think of. Here are just three of the latest offerings:

Astro Pneumatic Hub, Drum, and Rotor Puller
Seized-up and rust-welded brake rotors, drums, and wheel hubs can really ruin your day if you don’t have a good puller like this one from Astro Pneumatic. The T-bar and pulling arms are forged from heavy-duty steel alloy to handle the abuse you will surely inflict. It also has an extra-long, Grade 8 threaded drive bolt for use with an impact wrench. The drum and rotor puller arms have stop notches so you can use a ratchet strap to remove the really stubborn ones.

The Astro Pneumatic Hub, Drum, and Rotor Puller comes with wheel hub and drum/rotor pulling arms; small, medium, and large hub adapters; hardened washer; and hex nuts. Check out the instruction manual to see how easy it is to use the tool.

Summit Racing™ Tool Creeper
When you’re on your back working under a vehicle, it’s no fun trying to find a tool that’s rolled away or is sitting just out of reach. A Summit Racing Tool Creeper keeps tools and hardware right at hand. The creeper has three trays to help keep tools and hardware organized, and the center has a metal plate for attaching tools with magnetic bases; it’s also a handy spot for an LED work light. The Summit Racing Tool Creeper has easy-rolling caster wheels and four ridged handles.

Dewalt Atomic 20V Max Cordless Reciprocating Saw
Sometimes the only solution for a tough job is to break out the creative destruction tools like this Dewalt Atomic Cordless Reciprocating Saw. At just 3.3 pounds and 12.5 inches long, the saw is compact and lightweight enough to operate with one hand, making it perfect for getting into those hard-to-reach areas. Features include:

• Built-in LED light
• Tool-free blade release for quick blade changes
• Brushless motor and 20-volt battery power to cut through material at up to 2,800 strokes per minute
• Pivot shoe design provides more points of contact than a fixed shoe
• Variable-speed trigger provides excellent speed control for steady cutting

The Dewalt Atomic Cordless Reciprocating Saw comes with one battery, a charger, two blades, a belt hook, and a storage bag.
